Knitting and weaving with yarns from around the world.

Jordan is a local Georgia fiber artist who knits and weaves a variety of wearable, functional, and decorative artwork. She has been knitting for over twenty years. Her first weaving experience took place with a Master Weaver while studying abroad in the mountains of Southwest China in 2013. She later continued taking weaving classes in 2018 at Silver Threads & Golden Needles in Franklin, NC as well as with Sharon Grist, The Village Weaver of Foxfire, in 2020.
Much of her work is made using thrifted, upcycled, or repurposed materials she’s gathered while traveling and/or living abroad. Because of this, the majority of Jordan’s work is completely one-of-a-kind and cannot be replicated. Her woven work is made on a rigid heddle loom or on four- or eight-harness floor looms.
Jordan currently lives in Clayton, GA, with her three cats, Sohna, Kimchi, and Purl. She grew up in Hendersonville, NC and graduated from Guilford College in Greensboro, NC with a degree in International Studies and German Language in 2014.
